Power Rectifier Diode Д141 Series (D141 Series)

Power rectifier diodes of the D141 series are stud diodes designed for general-purpose applications, capable of converting both direct and alternating currents up to 100A with a frequency of up to 500 Hz in circuits with voltages ranging from 300V to 1600V. The diodes of the D141 series are identified by the RSD4 case type with an M10x1.5 mm thread and a weight of 90g. Under direct polarity, the base of the diode serves as the anode, while the flexible terminal is the cathode. For reverse polarity, this relationship is reversed, and the marking includes the letter “X.”

The D141 series includes the following standard designations: D141-100 and D141-100X. These power diodes find application as rectifying and demagnetizing diodes, effectively preventing the detrimental effects of switching overvoltages. They are commonly used in low-voltage rectifiers for welding and galvanic equipment, uncontrolled or semi-controlled rectifier bridges, as well as in electric generators for industrial and transport applications. For efficient heat dissipation, diodes are assembled with coolers (radiators) using a threaded connection. To ensure a reliable thermal and electrical contact between the diode and the cooler during assembly, it is crucial to adhere to the specified tightening torque (M2). Additionally, heat-conducting paste can be applied during assembly for enhanced heat dissipation. These diodes are manufactured for use in temperate, cold (UHL), or tropical (T) climates, falling under accommodation category 2.
