Bridge Rectifier

Thyristors, also referred to as Thyristor SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) in their stud version, serve as versatile components for regulating and converting both DC and AC currents, handling up to 125A within circuits featuring voltages of up to 1600V (depending on the specific thyristor model).

To maintain optimal performance, air heat sinks are utilized for cooling. During assembly, it’s essential to adhere to a specified tightening torque (Md) to ensure reliable thermal and electrical contact with the heat sink. Additionally, the application of heat conducting paste is recommended for improved heat dissipation, though not mandatory for installation.

These stud-designed thyristors feature the anode as their base, with the cathode represented by a long, hard lead, and the control electrode (gate) denoted by a shorter hard lead. They find application in both DC and AC power circuits across various electrical installations and semiconductor power converters.

Specifically, our Thyristors LJ-MD boast low static and dynamic losses, along with high VDRM/VRRM values. Backed by extensive industry experience, they cover a voltage range from 100 to 9000V and amperages from 10 to 15000A. They exhibit robust resistance to thermal and electrical cycling, supporting either natural or forced air cooling methods.
