Russian Low Frequency Thyristor T2-320 series

The T2-320-10 thyristor is a power semiconductor device with a silicon diffusion p-n-p-n structure, designed for low-frequency applications. It is intended for operation in power circuits of both direct and alternating current with frequencies up to 500 Hz and a current not exceeding 320 A.

The power thyristor T2-320-10 finds applications in static electric drive converters, high-voltage rectifier-inverter substations for transmission lines, as well as in power circuits of various general-purpose direct and alternating current installations.

Constructed in a metal-ceramic housing with a pill-like design, the thyristor features flat anode and cathode bases. The polarity is determined by a symbol marked on the thyristor’s housing. Forced air cooling is required, and the recommended cooler types are OA-026 and OM-103.

The thyristor can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -50 to +60 °C. It is produced in climatic versions “UHL” for placement category “2” and “T” for placement category “3” according to GOST 15150-69.

The T2-320 power thyristor can withstand sinusoidal vibrations in the frequency range of 1-100 Hz with an acceleration of 49 m/s² and repeated shocks lasting 2-15 ms with an acceleration of 147 m/s².

The thyristor’s mass does not exceed 310 g.
